The reason they are all connected is they all drank tap water.

This is dumb, Its just like saying they both drank Coca Cola... Yes, I am aware that Widmore products tie into the gran scheme of things on the show, and it might not be a coincidence that the same products are are involved, but this isn't a gran connection. If your going to add this might as well put all the conditions involving people who have heard "Make your own kind of music" song.
Did anyone else think Kate's line when Sun is taking a pregnancy test they got off Sawyer, "Who carries a pregnancy test on a flight, right? Hahaha" maybe was a bit of a hint, as in, people don't carry pregnancy tests on the flight but the Others planted stuff amongst the wreckage or whoever packed up the plane (Widmore) purposely put things on there they knew would come in handy on the island...
